How we manage this precious global resource impacts our economic and social opportunities far into the future.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Internet Governance is the development and application by governments, the private sector, and civil society, in their respective roles, of shared principles, norms, rules, decision-making procedures, and programs that shape the evolution and use of the Internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This course provides an overview of Internet governance, touching on key areas such as its history, policy principles, actors and stakeholders, infrastructure, regulatory frameworks, multilingualism, and cybersecurity. On each course page, click the \u201cEnroll\u201d button in the top right corner of the page to immediately be added to a course. Once you have successfully been enrolled, you will be able to see the course under \u201cMy Courses and Learning Plans\u201d. You will also be able to see information about the course instructor, view the course\u2019s forums, and access any modules that are available. All courses are available in English, French, and Spanish so first select the right language for you. You can do this by selecting the language of your choice in the left-hand filter in the course catalog or choosing the course that denotes the correct language (EN=English, FR=French, ES=Spanish).<br>\u00a0<br>You also have the option to choose the format that will work best for your connection type. All courses have 3 format options: high bandwidth, low bandwidth, and text-based for all connections.
