governance.\u201d While it\u2019s a mouthful, the concept is actually quite simple: many interested parties share the responsibility of determining policies, actions, or the state of the Internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-18-font-size\">Running the Internet with input and representation from multiple parties ensures that the Internet remains a tool that favors no one group and allows for permissionless innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-18-font-size\">Over the next few weeks, we\u2019re diving into some of the key groups that play a valuable role in Internet
